The Hazardex 2021 Conference, Exhibition and Awards event is now taking place on October 6 & 7 at the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK. Book your place at the industry's most prestigious event now!The deadline for submitting a paper has now been extended until April 16.For 20 years, the Hazardex Conference & Exhibition has been the ideal platform for sharing key industry information and topical discussion on process safety-related topics. The annual event brings together those with hazardous area and wider safety responsibilities to review best practice and the latest research in areas key to managing process safety effectively.
The Call for Papers for Hazardex 2021 is now open and we are seeking submissions from contributors with experience and knowledge of the process safety and high hazard sectors. Submissions could be in the form of research, industry developments, lessons learnt from near-misses, investigation findings, good practice for industry, or case studies, to name just a few of the formats we are looking for.
As always, we are seeking participation from members of industry where hazardous area operations or process safety are of high importance. These will include chemical, pharmaceutical, onshore and offshore oil & gas, nuclear, renewables, food & beverage, utilities, laboratories/clean room, power generation, transport of hazardous materials, manufacturing, agrochemical, new energy such as hydrogen and battery storage.
The Hazardex 2021 Conference will have a focus on several topics including:

This list is not exclusive. Anyone with an original take on any aspect of hazardous area operations or process safety is encouraged to get in touch.There is no charge to submit or present, although we are seeking
only non-commercial papers which aim to share expertise and knowledge.
All speakers will get an inclusive pass for all conference sessions plus a seat at the prestigious Awards Gala Dinner on the evening of October 6.
Submission requirementsPlease submit abstracts of between 300 to 400 words (in Word document or PDF format) for consideration, accompanied with the following information:
* Presenting author (and co-authors) biography
* Company / Organisation
* Full contact details
* Paper title
* Main topic
