The ongoing mission for STL is to eliminate, or at least drastically reduce, lighting maintenance so that skilled and valuable personnel time can be spent more productively elsewhere on the plant or site. The EXTRA-N-LED range for zone 2/22 has been fitted with a new generation of LED modules. Due to the improved efficacy of the modules, up to 155lm/W, the 5ft versions are now available with an incredible lumen output in excess of 16,300lumen. This means that the EXTRA range of LED luminaires now offers new opportunities in high ceiling applications in hazardous area. Some of the luminaires can be used in ambient temperatures of up to 60°C.

In addition, the hazardous area range can be supplied with Bluetooth MESH wireless control modules, DALI dimmable drivers and DALI inverters, 1-10V dimmable drivers, Auto-test emergency inverters, Microwave sensors and Change-over switches for Central Battery operation.

Other LED luminaires are available for specialist applications such as extreme temperatures, up to 80°C, impact resistant, up to 120J (5kg@2.8m), silicone free for paint booths and anti-ligature for prisons and secure healthcare facilities.
