The Chemical Business Association (CBA), celebrating its 100th in 2023, is a leading organisation representing the complete chemical supply chain and an award-winning trade association with record levels of membership.

Many CBA members are SMEs and include manufacturers, distributors, traders, warehouse operators, logistics and transport companies, as well as service providers and suppliers who collectively are the main chemical industry interface providing products and services to virtually every sector.

The organisation is currently working with a group of other interested parties to reduce the incidents that are occurring in the pool sector following COVID. Most of the incidents and issues that are currently occurring in the sector seem to stem from staff retention and knowledge drain.

This presentation will take a closer look at the issues caused by COVID, as well as the more general issues of chemical compatibility, segregation and reskilling that are affecting several sectors.
