Hazardex in the Regions: Grangemouth - Demonstrating compliance with regulations and technical safety
James Steven, Senior Principal Engineer at DNV, will be presenting at Hazardex in the Regions: Grangemouth on 18 June. He will be discussing compliance and provide clarity on what you need to be aware of when applying regulations to your projects.
Demonstrating compliance with regulations and technical safety is a day to day activity, however many of the practices applied are not aligned with the expectations of these regulations. Due to limited to no market surveillance to confirm if regulations are being followed, it is sometimes not clear to on how these should be applied and leads to common misinterpretation of what is expected.
The session will cover going though common questions we see on how to apply regulations such as UKCA/CE marking, DSEAR, ATEX/UKEx and pressure containment and provides clarity on what is expected or what to be aware of when applying these regulations for products and projects in the UK.
